 LEADERNET uses the following methods to terminate fiber optic cables:

  • Pre-polished mechanical fiber connectors (UNICAM) because of simple installation, high reliability and low attenuation.
  • Pigtails (fusion connectors).

  • Certifications of Attenuation. Calculates total cables loss with connections.
  • OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer). Tests fiber distances, events and loss.
